I am currently in New Zealand, been going to the local library daily to work on my assignment. On leaving I have struck up a conversation with a gentleman at the bus stop every day,
He asked what degree I was doing and when I said philosophy he told me a story about when he was doing an engineering degree at The University of Canterbury, Christchurch, NZ.
He had heard about an amazing speaker from the philosophy department and he ended up attending six lectures. Told me that after listening to the lectures he and his friends changed the way they thought about many things.

Told me the lecturer's name was Karl Popper and asked if I had heard of him!!!!!
Didn't know Popper had fled to New Zealand at the outbreak of WW11. Regards, Sandra

And in such arbitrary ways, enlightenment spreads her angelic wings over us all, at some point in our lives.

Best wishes, Rob.

How poetic.
Have they cancelled your EMA, they have mine DD210.
This module has been about applied psychology, so looking forward to my next philosophy module.

Not sure. I've deferred my course for this year. It seemed sensible. Anyway, I look forward to discussing more philosophy with you, later on.

Best wishes, Rob.

No, I'm still trying to get DD103 done as part of a degree in PPE. So I'm not so far advanced as you, through I have read around some philosophy, trying to get an overview of the subject.

Best wishes, 2RM.
